Pac-12 students are known for their athletic success, but they are also impressive, complete people with outside interests, diverse backgrounds, extracurricular activities, interesting families, busy schedules, and full lives. The release for this week’s competition is focused on who California students are in the classroom and community.
ACADEMIC SPOTLIGHT TOP PERFORMERS

ROAD TO RIO INDIVIDUAL EVENT (Top 25) Already the first gymnast to represent Jamaica in international competition, sophomore Toni-Ann Williams is aiming to be the first Jamaican gymnast to compete in Rio at the upcoming Olympics. The reigning Pac-12 Vault Freshman of the Year competed at the World Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, Scotland in October, Gymnast Rank Average RQS and was selected by her country’s committee to fulfill the lone female berth to represent Jamaica at the Sy Seilnacht T25 9.85 - Olympic Test Event this April in order to earn qualification for a spot in Rio.
