Newly Elected Board Members

The following school personnel will become mem- bers of the Board of Control effective July 1, 1980. Mr. John Brock, Superintendent of Rowan County Schools, representing Section 8; Mr. Charles D. Black, Principal of Knox Central High School, representing Section 7; Mr. Alvis Johnson, Assistant Principal of Harrodsburg High School, representing Regions 9-16; and Mr. Whayion Coleman, Assistant Principal at Owensboro High School, representing Regions 1-8. Walter J. Pickett Mr. Walter Pickett, Principal at Valley High School, will represent Section 3 and replaces Mr. Denzil J. Ramsey who recently retired. John Brock was born in Pineville, Kentucky, Centennial Baptist Church in Harrodsburg. He is married December 2, 1937, and is a graduate of Bell County High to the former Rosetta Cooke of Bowling Green, Kentucky. School. He received his B.A. in Biology from Lincoln They have two sons.
