Judges: The national organizations are invited to send a list of available judges until 31 January 2020 to the CdL secretary or the latest together with the entry form until 6 April 2020.

The organizing committee reserves the right to reschedule breeds according to the number of entered , breeds can be moved to another day. The team leader of every country will be informed about rescheduling at the latest 7 days after the closing date.

Veterinary control: For competing on Friday: Thursday from 14:00 to 17:00 o’clock. For hounds competing on Saturday: Friday from 15:00 to 18:00 o’clock. For hounds competing on Sunday: Saturday from 15:00 to 18:00 o’clock.

Vet requirements: Valid EU passport and valid rabies vaccination is mandatory.

Identification: The must have microchip or readable tattoo.

Control measurement: and Italian which are not registered with a control measurement on a FCI title event in the CdL database will be measured (§1.5.1 and §1.5.3). These measurements will be supervised by the FCI event delegate of this event.

CdL Sprinter Winner: For Italian Greyhound sprinters and Whippet sprinters. See §1.4.2. section 8. and 9. for the height limits, and §4.6. Sprinter events titles.

Terrain: Natural flat terrain. Number of fields: 3.

Distance: For Cirneco dell’Etna, Italian Greyhound and Whippet 600 - 800 meters, for all other breeds 800 - 1000 meters. Small variations of the distances are tolerated (§4.12.2.).

Type of lure operating: Lure pulled over pulleys.

Doping tests: Doping tests will be done according to FCI regulations §1.10.

Liability: According to FCI regulations §1.11.

Participation: Maximum 6 dogs per country, per breed and sex. In addition the European Champions of the previous year can defend their title and be entered in addition to the maximum permissible participants. §4.9 § 4.11 If a total of fewer than six dogs and bitches of any breed at the start, no title will be given. In spite of this the FCI event delegate together with the judges can decide to award the title if the circumstances so require. If there are less than 4 dogs at the start, this particular breed cannot participate in the FCI Championship. To be entered any sighthound must have completed the last two races or lure coursing events before the deadline of the entry without disqualification. A disqualification between the entry closing date and the date of the championship precludes participation.

Qualification: Qualification runs completed before the age limit set forth in paragraph 1.4.2 is reached are invalid.

Entries: Entries can only be done by the dog owner's National Organization. Entries can only be sent in the official Excel file, which is sent in advance, attached with this invitation.

CACIL allocation: CACIL will be awarded according to the FCI regulations §5. When the National Organization on the registration form indicates that the dog is entitled to receive CACIL, this is accepted as evidence.

Prizes: FCI European Coursing Champion 2020 (red presentation jacket), certificate. Placements 2.-6.: prizes. CdL Sprinter Winner 2020 (green presentation jacket), certificate. Placements 2.-6.: prizes. For all participants: a souvenir.

Coursing catalogue: The coursing catalogue is free of charge, will be available to download from the website of the championship.

Camping: Area for campers, caravans and tents is provided. Without a booking availability is not guaranteed. Sanitation (toilets, water supply) is available. Electricity is not available in the camping. The camping is open from 29 April (Wednesday) to 4 May (Monday). Camping bookings at the latest: 24 April (Friday) in e-mail: [email protected] (please mark the type of vehicle). Price of a camping spot: 40 EUR (regardless of the number of days or type of vehicle).

Parking: One-time payment of 5 EUR (regardless of the number of days).

Other information: The use of a muzzle is compulsory for all breeds. Red and white jackets are compulsory; text, signs or other attributes that can be used to identify are not allowed on the jackets. Country flags or signal-/ bright colours on the dogs’ leg-tapes are not allowed.

Dogs must be kept on leash at all times. Please clean up after your dogs! Violation of these rules will result in a penalty of 20 EUR. First aid resources will be available on spot. For an eventual cancellation of the event, beyond the organizer's responsibility, no liability will be taken.
