Some important Points : 1) The delegates may hire taxies through APPS from Airport, Railway Station, Bus Terminus. Hired Taxies are available in plenty in the city. The distance from Airport to ANU, Guntur is nearly 20 KM. 2) The presentation of the Technical Sessions is of 10 mins. Duration and in the Plenary 15 mins. Duration. The Presentation should be restricted within the stipulated time. All QA will be taken up at the end of the session by the Session Chair and the Co-chair. 3) The Presenters are requested to kindly send the PPT Presentation materials to: [email protected] by 20/11/2018. They are also requested to contact the respective members in the Hall

Management for Technical Session in the particular Hall or the Some important Points Technical Desk atleast 30 mins before the sessons start to check if the PPT has been uploaded in the Laptop. 4) The rapporteurs are requested to prepare one page note on the proceedings of the sesson and email it to: [email protected] once the sesson is completed or handover the softcopy / hard copy to the Technical Desk (Mr. Suresh Mondal-9836911950, Mr. Biswajit Debnath- 9874384611. Kindly Note that the inputs of the rapporteurs are very important to prepare the chair summary that will be presented in the Valedictory Sesson. The Chair / Co-chair / Moderators / Rapporteurs are requested to kindly contact the Hall Management members / Technical Desk and requested to kindly report to respective Halls 15 mins. before the schedule. 5) The Concurrent Sessons will start as per schedule even if the time in the Plenary Sessons over shoots. The Hall Management, Technical Desk, the Presenters and Chair / Co-chair / Moderators / Rapporteurs are requested to adhere to the schedule. 6) The Poster Presentation will be carried out on all the 3 days during Tea Break, Lunch Break and on stipulated schedule. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of The Kingdom of Thailand (MoNRE), the Ministry of the Environment of the Government of Japan (MOEJ), and the United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD) of Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) / UN DESA will co-organize the 9th Regional 3R Forum in Asia and the Pacific from 4 to 6 March 2019 in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand. With the theme of “3R as a way for moving towards

sufficiency economy – Implications for SDGs” aims to address how 3R and Pacific andin the Asia resource efficiency could play a critical role in achieving sufficiency economy, which advocates rationale use of natural resources that gives people better environment, quality of life and livelihood security as well as prudence and built-in self-immunity to cope with external shocks and global volatility through balanced development.

Kanaka Durga Temple : in Vijayawada, is the most visited pilgrim centre, with piligrims visiting the place to attain meritorious worlds and ultimately salvation, the goal of human life. Kanaka Durga temple is situated on the mountain named Indrakeeladri on the banks of the river Krishna. OF INTEREST PLACES Caves : The , a monolithic example of Indian rock-cut architectureand one of the finest testimonials to ancient viswakarma sthapathis, are located in Undavalli of Guntur districtin theIndian state of Andhra Pradesh. The caves are located 6 km south west from Vijayawada, 22 km north east of Guntur City of Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the centrally protectedmonuments of national importance.

Bhavani Island : situated in the midst of the , at Vijayawada. It is located at the upstream of and is considered as one of the largest river islands in India, with an area of 133 acres (54 ha)

Prakasam Barrage : The structure of the Prakasam Barrage stretches 1223.5 m across the Krishna River connecting Krishna and Guntur districts. The barrageserves also as a road bridge and spans over a lake. The three canals associated with the barrage run through the city of Vijayawada, crossing it and giving it a Venetian appearance. Gandhi Hill : The Gandhi Hill(elevation 500ft (150m)) is a hill inVijayawada, situated behind theVijayawada railway stationin the Tarapet area. A Gandhi Memorial, built on this hill, is the first in the country to have seven stupas. The hill is also popularly known by the name ofGandhi.

The Temple is dedicated to LordSri Venkateswara, an incarnation ofVishnu, who is believed to have appeared here to save mankind from trials and troubles ofKali Yuga. Hence the place has also got the name KaliyugaVaikunthamand the Lord here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. The temple is also known as Tirumala Temple, Tirupati Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple. The hills are 853 metres (2,799ft) above sea level. The Hills comprisesseven peaks, representing the seven heads ofAdisesha. The temple lies on the seventh peak -Venkatadri, on the southern banks of Sri Swami Pushkarini, a holy water tank. Hence the temple is also referred to as "Temple of Seven Hills". Tirumala town covers about 10.33sqmi (26.75km2) in area. Its geographical location is amidst the Eastern Ghatsand the coast of theBay of Bengal. Araku Valley : Araku Valley is a hill station and valley region in the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It's surrounded by the thick forests of the Eastern mountain range. The Tribal Museum is dedicated to the area's numerous indigenous tribes, known for their traditional Dhimsa dance, and showcases traditional handicrafts.
