Does not currently offer assistance with family based petitions, but will likely do so in the future.  Offers ESL tutoring and citizenship classes.  Provides other legal services and referrals to social services.  Consultations Fee: $35 if client qualifies for a fee waiver  Charges nominal fees on a sliding scale for legal services.

Helps migrant farm workers who are victims of crimes, domestic violence, and trafficking obtain adjustment of status.  Also represents migrant farm workers in civil rights, wage disputes, contract enforcement, working conditions, and housing cases.

This includes assistance with U-Visas and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions.  Provides crisis intervention for victims of crimes as well as trauma counseling, case management, support groups, advocacy and referrals to victims of crimes. Specific programs are geared towards children, families, and the elderly.  Charges $200 for a U visa or VAWA process.

Provides daily know- your-rights presentations at the detention center, individual intakes, and pro se workshops. Refers meritorious cases involving low-income individuals to pro bono attorneys or its in-house Direct Representation Project.  RMIAN’s Children’s Program provides free immigration legal services to low-income children and youth throughout Colorado. Provides community education, technical assistance, and legal trainings on children’s immigration legal issues.  RMIAN’s Social Service Project works collaboratively with the Detention Program to provide holistic, wrap-around social services to clients in immigration detention.  RMIAN’s Anti-Human Trafficking Project works in collaboration with RMIAN’s Detention and Children’s Programs to support detained immigration adults and immigrant children who are survivors of human trafficking. Provides community education and training on human trafficking and T visas.
