intu Broadmarsh is busiest on Fridays and Saturdays. intu Broadmarsh is quietest on Sundays (before 12 noon) and Mondays (before 10am).
We are also busier around Christmas and during the school holidays.

Please note during some events, sales and Christmas, the centre can be busier and might look different to normal.
05 How will I get to intu Broadmarsh?
Car If you drive, you can visit the centre in your car.
• You can park your car in Broadmarsh multi-storey car park • Parking costs are displayed at the entrances to the car park • The car park is open 24 hours a day. Telephone: 0115 8761499
06 How will I get to intu Broadmarsh?
Bus If you don’t have your own transport, you can also take the bus. Most buses stop outside the centre or at the bus station which is adjacent to intu Broadmarsh.
Please note that buses will drop you off at the entrance to intu Broadmarsh via Tanners Walk or Collin Street.

07 How will I get to intu Broadmarsh?
Taxi If you choose to come by taxi, please ask your taxi driver to drop you off at the Collin Street entrance on the opposite side of the road from the centre.
Bike If you like to cycle, the centre is also situated close to the national cycle network that runs through Nottinghamshire. You will find a bike rack near to the Cliff Road entrance.
08 How do I find the toilets?
Look out for these signs to find the toilets.
• If you have a physical disability and need to access the disabled toilets, please ask any member of the intu team for the radar key.
09 Talking to the centre staff
Our staff are always happy to help. Our staff all have jobs to do within the centre, but if you ask them they will be able to stop and help you with what you need.
10 What support do I have?
If you want you can use our autism awareness cards
• They help you tell staff and other shoppers about your autism • They can be downloaded from our website or picked up from the customer service desk.

Alternatively, you can wear one of our autism awareness wristbands.
• They help you tell staff and other shoppers about your autism • They can be picked up from the customer service desk • If you need help, please ask a member of staff. All employees have specialist autism awareness training and will be happy to help you.
If you haven chosen to carry a card or wear a wristband, please remember to show them to the member of staff during an emergency.
12 What to do if things go wrong?
Speak to any member of staff.
Someone will be available at the customer service desk on the lower mall. However, security staff and environmental service staff will also be happy to assist you.
If you have an autism awareness card or wristband let this person know, and tell them about your emergency.
It might be one of the following: • I am lost, please help • I have lost something • I don’t feel well • I need someone trained in first aid • I am feeling overwhelmed. Please help me find somewhere quiet.
13 Who will I meet when I visit?
Meet our staff Look out for us around the centre.
Environmental Services staff – I keep the centre nice and tidy!
Customer Service staff – I help with queries our customers might have.
Security staff – I help the centre stay safe and secure. Remember, there will be lots of other shoppers to meet too.
