AIMS Sponsored Health Insurance Consortium (EBS) announces minimal rate increases as premiums for many employers rise well into the double digits.

Benefit Offerings The Association of Independent and DC Schools (AIMS) has sponsored a Health Insurance consortium for our members for nearly 30 years.  Health Insurance The consortium has long offered participating schools the advantage of:  Dental & Vision  Greater leverage with insurance companies.  Life and Disability  Lower administrative costs. Insurance  Stable experience and premium increases.  Flexible Spending Accounts While there has been much concern regarding the effect of Healthcare  Wellness Initiatives Reform on insurance premium increases for 2014, we are happy to report  Retiree Medical Plans single digit rate increases for the AIMS sponsored consortium (EBS) members.  Employee Assistance

Program  Rate increases ranging from 1.2% to 4% for our Health Savings  COBRA Account (HSA) compatible plans.  Long Term Care  Rate increases ranging from 3.2% to 7.5% for our most Insurance generous traditional plan options.  Benefit & HR  New Plan offering monthly Employee Only rate of $303.00 and Consulting Family rate of $910.00.  Rate increases include all of the newly required Federal ACA Services taxes and fees.
