The Chairperson attended all five forums in honor of Fair Housing Month. Great work by all of the staff! Maryland’s First Lady, Yumi Hogan, will serve on the Advisory Council of The Asian American Foundation. This comprises a new non-profit organization created in response to the surge of violence against or the “hate crimes” that have been perpetrated against Asian Americans. We require one or two Commissioners interested actively to serve as non- voting members of the Western Maryland Advisory Council. (See the by-laws of that advisory board.)
