AGENDA NOTE:-

It is to submit that, the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority has developed the Pedagantyada Phase – II layout at Gandhinagar, developed by VUDA, Visakhapatnam. The Vice-Chairman, VUDA has made field inspection with the HODs concerned of VUDA in the 1st week of January, 2014 and accordingly instruction have been issued to Divisional Forest Officer, VUDA mentioned under the reference 1st cited to examine the issue for providing Green Carpeting in Gandhi Nagar, regarding the park. Simultaneously the President of the Gandhi Nagar, MIG Plot Owners Welfare Association, Pedagantyada, Visakhapatnam - 44 has submitted a representation to the Vice-Chairman, VUDA on 28-01-2014 mentioned under the reference 2nd cited, with a request to provide the following amenities:

1. Installation of Gandhi Statue 2. Installation of Iron Benches 3. Providing grass turf

It is also to submit that the Vice-Chairman, VUDA has felt it appropriate to provide laying Mexican Carpet Grass in Gandhi Nagar Park of Pedagantyada during the year 2013-14 with an estimated amount of Rs.1,35,300/- to consider the request of the allottees of VUDA and the expenditure may be met with a budget provision made for an amount of Rs.30.00 Lakhs as against the Budget Code No. 4-B-111 intended for providing Greenery in VMR area for the year 2013-14.

In view of the above the matter is placed before VUDA Board perusal and approval.
