GENERAL PURPORT OR EFFECT OF THE ABOVEMENTIONED STATUTORY RULES

(1) Proclamation under section 3 of the Highways Act 1951 This proclamation – (a) notifies the dedication of certain land of the Crown near Pontville as a highway; and (b) notifies the boundaries of that highway.

(2) Proclamation under section 2 of the Poisons Amendment (Poppy Advisory and Control Board) Act 2008 This proclamation fixes 15 February 2009 as the day on which the Poisons Amendment (Poppy Advisory and Control Board) Act 2008 commences. (3) Proclamation under section 2 of the Water Legislation Amendment Act 2008 This proclamation fixes 11 February 2009 as the day on which the provisions of the Water Legislation Amendment Act 2008 commence. (4) Water Management Amendment Regulations 2009 These regulations amend the Water Management Regulations 1999 consequent on the enactment of the Water Legislation Amendment Act 2008. (7) Water Management (Well Driller's Licence Exemption) Order 2009 This order exempts certain categories of well works from the operation of Division 4 of Part 7 of the Water Management Act 1999. (8) Water Management (Well Works Permit Exemption) Order 2009 This order declares that, until 1 September 2009, a well works permit is not required for any class of well works.
