AVO extends the range of uses of its innovative LiqWürz and offers a new generation of liver sausage and Teewurst sausage products

AVO Liq-Würz Plant Cream is a substitute for animal in the manufacture of tasty sausage products, and so eminently meets the needs of present-day consumers. Based on quality rapeseed oil and other specific components, this new ingredient can replace up to 20 percent animal fats. The technological properties and effect on taste of the plant cream have been researched in a scientific study project, and they have already proved their worth in the production of poultry and beef . The results convinced the Belm taste experts, motivating them to extend the range of its use to include spreadable raw sausage and cooked sausage.

AVO Liq-Würz Plant Cream for Liver Sausage is outstandingly suitable for the production of liver sausage – whether based on poultry, pork, beef or veal. The special composition of the plant cream gives the sausage meat a texture which fully answers to consumers’ expectations, with a liver sausage or Teewurst sausage that is easily spreadable. As well as special , the plant cream also contains cutter process aids and reddening agents, so that for purposes of industrial production all you need to add is salt. For the production of a superior Teewurst sausage, the unseasoned AVO Liq-Würz Plant Cream may be used in the basic version. Taken all in all, the new ingredient guarantees a safe and standardised production process.
