RECENT GAMES: BEARS vs. COPPIN STATE - - (December 10, 2003, Baltimore, MD) Aaron Andrews scored a team-high 15 points to lead the way as Morgan State fell short to Coppin State in over- time, 68-66, in its first taste of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action. The Bears struggled to hit shots in the first half and trailed by 14 at the break. Morgan’s intense man-to-man defense helped the Bears put together a 17-2 run to hack into the Eagles lead. The lead would change 5 times before CSC’s Kelvin Green scored 11 points down the stretch to send the game into overtime. In overtime, Cedrick Barrow and Reggie Winkfield kept the Bears hopes alive, but a crucial basket by Green with seconds remaining ended up being the deciding points of the extra session.

BEARS vs. VIRGINIA TECH - - (December 1, 2003, Blacksburg, VA) Bryant Matthews scored a game-high 36 points to lead Virginia Tech to a 76-66 victory against a competitive Morgan State squad on Monday night in front of 5,580 fans at in Blacks- burg, VA.
