In 1975, company founder and chairman Mr. Siu Bun Wing started the first "Poly- naphthalene sulfonate salt" high range water reducer research in at the Wuhan Metallurgy Construction Research Institute. “FDN” was name by Mr. Siu to represent the first three characters of Chinese Pinyin for “waste poly naphthalene”.
