FUTURE FORUM PAC ANNOUNCES SUPPORT OF YOUNG HOUSE CANDIDATES ACROSS THE NATION

WASHINGTON, DC – PAC, the political action arm of House Democrats’ millennial engagement group, today announced it has contributed $50,000 to Democratic House candidates across the nation – the “Future 40.”

“All across America, a new generation of young candidates is stepping up to help move our nation forward,” said Rep. , founder and chairman of Future Forum. “Some are veterans who have put their lives on the line for our country; some have served in local, state or national government; some are entrepreneurs who have launched job-creating companies.

“These candidates will be part of a Congress that fights for healthcare for every American, for jobs and taxes that let working families plan brighter futures, and for fairer representation that’s free of the stains of big money and gerrymandered districts. They’ll serve in a Congress that puts nation before party, and that puts a hard check on President Trump’s dangerous policies and erratic behavior.”

Now numbering 28 members, the group has visited almost 50 U.S. cities from coast to coast, listening to young Americans’ needs and concerns: from the student loan debt crisis to the decline of entrepreneurship to dwindling home ownership.
