4 IPE Global MD SPEAKS Welcome to 2017

very New Year feels the same; every past year looks different. At the cusp Eof the New Year, standing between the reality of 2016 and the promise of 2017, is an opportunity to reflect and plan. At times, we are so overcome by the demands of ‘doing’ that reflection and planning seem to be luxuries for another day, another person. Yet, it is a fact that most successful people attribute their success to this daily discipline.

IPE Global Limited (IPE Global) is proud of the fact that it has some of the best urban planners, economic planners and social planners in the world today. Ashwajit Singh And together all of us are doing a great job of making development a ground Managing Director reality. But here are two additional designations we all need to have - ‘Life- IPE GLOBAL Planner’ and ‘Everyday-Planner’. We need to prioritise the larger goals of our life - including family, work and spirituality - and then plan each day, working towards these goals. As Jim Rohn said - ‘either your lead the day, or the day leads you.’ Ditto with life. Devote at least 15 mins a day to daily planning and review apart from annual and life plans. All these will make a marked difference in your productivity and your team’s success.

I can look back with pride and enumerate our accomplishments since the time of IPE Global’s existence. We have demystified sustainability into a discipline capable of delivering solutions, with a passion for heralding change through our work. Our projects in areas of Health, Nutrition & WASH, Urban & Infrastructure Development, IT & eGovernance, Education & Skills Development and Environment & Climate Change have transformed the lives of over 300 million people across the globe. We have implemented more than 800 projects in over 100 countries, addressing some of the most complex socio-economic issues.

With inroads into new geographical terrains and landmark collaborations with clients- this has been a good year. I say good, because no matter what the situation we face as a business, the positivity, dedication and focus showcased by each one of us, is what makes this company special. We are fussy about who we employ and it shows! This for me, is the essence of what contributes to our achievements and IPE Global’s rise as a powerhouse of growth & ideas!

Let us, together, as one big family, welcome 2017 and continue to work for an equitable and sustainable world. It is all of you, who I thank, for supporting this journey. Wish you a very Happy New Year!
