NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

State Bank of India invites sealed tenders in 2 (two) bid system from the empanelled contractors of State Bank of India, LHO under Category 3(a) for Electrical Works of Branch, Kaikhali, 24-Parganas(South). The estimated cost of the work is Rs.5.00 lac(Rupees five lac only) (Approx.). The contractors should have valid Trade Licence, PAN Number and Service Tax Registration Number. If a contractor holds 3(three) unfinished work at Bank's different centre at a time, he will not be eligible to participate in the tender. The details of tender are as under :-

1 Name of the work Electrical works of proposed Kaikhali Branch, Kaikhali, 24- Parganas(South). 2 Time of completion 21(fifteen) days 3 Earnest Money Deposit(EMD) Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) in the shape of Bank Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of State Bank of India and payable in India and payable at Kolkata. 4 Security Deposit 5% of the contract value including EMD amount. 5 Cost of tender document Free of Cost 6 Available of tender document Tender document will be available from the Chief Manager( CS & CM ), State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Region-II, Opposite Padma Pukur Petrol Pump, 24-Parganas(South), 1st floor, Kolkata – 700 144 during office hour from 05/08/2017 to 17/08/2017. 7 Last date and time of receipt of tenders Upto 3.00pm on 17/08/2017 8 Address at which the tenders are to be The Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, submitted Region-II, 24-Parganas(South), Baruipur, 1st floor, Kolkata – 700144. 9 Date and time of opening Tenders 4.00pm on 17/082017 10 Place of opening of tender State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Region-II, 24- Parganas(South), Baruipur, Opposite Padmapukur Petrol Pump, 1st floor, Kolkata – 700144. 11 Defect liability period 6(six) months from the date of virtual completion of work 12 Validity of offer 3(three) months from the date of opening of tenders 13 Liquidated Damages 0.5% per week subject to a maximum of 5% of contract value. 14 Approximate Estimated cost of the Rs. 5,00,000.00 plus Service Tax. project

Tenders will have to be submitted in 2(two) parts i.e. Cover-I and Cover-II separately sealed and super scribed with the name of the work. Cover-I shall contain 1) all commercial and general stipulations proposed by the tenderer 2) Proof of required work experience and annual turnover ( for contractors empanelled with Bank's other circle), 3) Copy of enlistment letter 4) copies of valid Trade Licences, PAN Card, Service Tax Registration documents, Sales Tax Registration and 5) Earnest money in required form.

Cover-II shall contain the offered price with the tender document duly filled in. No other condition stipulated in Cover-II other than unconditional general rebate shall be accepted.

Cover-I will be opened on 17/08/2017 at 4.00pm in the presence of tenderers, who desire to attend. After examining the particulars/documents in Cover-I of the tenderers. Cover-II of the qualified tenderers will only be opened on the same date.

The rate shall be quoted in the work schedule both in figure and words. In case of any discrepancies in the rate quoted in figure and words, the rate quoted in words will be considered.

Tenderers should fill up the amount column against each items of work and the total quoted amount should also be worked out and written both in figure and words. Incomplete tenders will be rejected. Delay in submission of any part arising out of the postal irregularities or any other reason at any stage will not be considered. Also the bank will not be responsible for damage in transit in case of postal delivery.

In case of date of opening of tenders is declared as holiday, the tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time.

Bank reserves the right to reject or accept any offer without assigning reasons thereof.
