President's Corner . . . By Doug Stinson

I have a confession to make: This was the first year I attended the N4C annual luncheon. And I am sorry I waited so long to attend! There was a good turnout – 88 people (although I would love to see more). Rossmoor has a wonderful facility and the food was excellent. It was great to talk to people from different clubs across the Bay Area.

But the best part was seeing all the wonderful photographs – the best of the best! There are certainly many very talented photographers among all the N4C- member clubs.

Ok, no, actually the best part for me was handing out awards, giving recognition to all those great photographers who made the event so special!

Thanks go to Stephen Busch who, as Vice President, had over-all responsibility for organizing the event. Jim Cutler for arranging for the awards. Gary Oehrle, Stephen Hinchey and Joan Field for handling all the prints. Gene Albright for handling the Projected Images. And of course, the entire Rossmoor team for all the setup. I sincerely apologize if I have missed anyone.

Finally, thanks to Vicki Stephens for putting together this special issue of Foto Fanfare! I hope you all enjoy it.

I hope to see you at next year’s annual luncheon! Special Edition, March 2020 Page 3 2019 Annual Award Winners
