STEP ONE:
▸ Decide which technique you want to try:
▸ 1. Make a main subject larger
▸ 2. Make a main subject smaller
▸ 3.) Bending gravity
TAKE FOUR DIFFERENT FORCED PERSPECTIVE PHOTOS THINGS TO TRY!
COMMON IDEAS:
- Holding a landmark - Holding/eating the sun/moon - Holding another person in one hand - Toy larger than person/pet - People hanging from top of photo - Person stepping on another person INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP TWO: SET THE SCENE
▸ Take the time to set up the scene properly and get the camera angle right.
▸ Location is important!
▸ Perspective is important!
▸ Once you get everything in place, Take SEVERAL pictures of your shot and adjust things as needed. INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP THREE: EDITING PHOTOS
▸ The ONLY edits that should happen to the photos are the following:
▸ Cropping image in tighter to bring the subject closer in.
▸ Straightening the image if it’s crooked. Creating a definite horizon line is important.
▸ Changing the orientation of a photo by rotating it either upside down or sideways. (Used mostly for bending gravity photos.) Cropping Photo
AFTER CROPPING IMAGE BEFORE CROPPING IMAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP THREE: PICKING PHOTOS TO TURN IN
▸ You should have FOUR different poses or scenes for your assignment.
▸ Go through your photos and pick the best one from each pose.
▸ Turn in 4 images/pictures of your poses - (one picture for each pose.)
▸ Specify which one is your favorite out of the four turned in. ASSIGNMENT DUE ON FRIDAY - APRIL 17TH
-Turn in 4 different examples of Forced Perspective Photography
-Indicate which out of the 4 is your favorite and why.
