Telling Stories: Babel & Ten Canoes Since the early days of cinema, filmmakers have used the medium for storytelling. A film’s impact depends a lot on the strength of its story and with these two films, the directors take two very different approaches. At each screening, our guest storytellers will talk about oral storytelling. They will draw attention to the respective style of each film and suggest ways in which students can explore different narrative styles in their own storytelling and writing.
