Note: Attendance at a Rules Clinic is necessary to be eligible to call varsity football games meeting for a minimum of 5 classroom hours.

Brad Rogers (TASO Clinician) Rogers is from Lubbock and is a member of the South Plains Chapter. Since 1991 he has officiated high school football in Texas and Arizona. From 2001 to Present, he has been involved with the Western States Football League, American Southwest, Lone Star, SWAC, C-USA and is currently entering his 3rd season with the SEC. Rogers also officiated in the Arena2 League from 2007-2009 and the Arena Football League from 2010-2014. Post season assignments are several high school playoff games and college assignments. Robert Cameron (Honored Guest and SPC Alumni) Cameron, a 1971 Graduate of Texas Tech University. He began officiating Intramurals at TTU in 1971 and then joined the South Plains Chapter in 1972. Cameron held elected positions of President, Vice President and Division Director. He was the Chapter’s first Director of Development, served as a TASO Clinician Director, an On-Field and Classroom Trainer and was clinician at many football workshops. He helped create the TASO Mechanics Manual for 3, 4 and 5 officials. Cameron joined the Texas Intercollegiate Athletic Association and Lone Star Conference in the 80’s. In 1999 Cameron was invited to join the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) as a Field Judge, Side Judge and part-time Referee through 2008. He was named to be a Side Judge in the first Multi-Conference Crew (WAC, MWC and Big XII) for the 2007 and 2009 Seasons (now known as CFO West.) Cameron became a full-time Referee in 2009 for the WAC. Over Robert’s 14 year Division I Career, he worked 8 Bowl Games including the 2009 Little Caesar’s Pizza Bowl, which included Sarah Thomas as Line Judge – first woman in NCAA history to work a post-season assignment. Sarah just completed her first season in the NFL. Robert retired from football officiating following the 2012 season.

Eddy Shelton (Referee) Shelton began his officiating career in 1995 in the Permian Basin Chapter. Where he was primarily a BJ. In 2000 Mark Windham invited him to join his Lone Star D II College Crew where he was a SJ, BJ and FJ. In 2007 Shelton moved to Referee and in 2009 officiated his first Division I game. In 2011 Shelton was assigned as the Referee in the . 2014 his crew worked the FCS National Championship Game. In 2015 he was assigned a crew in the Big XII.

Hugo Cruz (Line of Scrimmage) Cruz is originally from Alamo, TX in the Rio Grande Valley, but currently resides in San Antonio, TX where he has lived for 2 years. He works as an Investment Advisor. Cruz has been an official for over 20 years working High School football with the Rio Grande Chapter, 5 years in Arena 2, and various other indoor leagues. In 2009, Cruz began working in Conference USA as a Line Judge and Head Linesman. Paul Myers (Umpire) Paul began his officiating career in 1992 in the College Station Chapter, later transferring to the Fort Worth Chapter after graduation in ‘94. His college path started in 2005 officiating Paul Quinn College games for Mr. George Coleman and in 2007 was hired full-time into the SWAC. Paul had great opportunities in the CFO West, American Athletic Conference and the Sunbelt. He is fortunate to be on a crew in the AAC. Giving back to the game is something that Paul loves to do. Improving at being a better Christian man, husband, dad and official, is a goal that he strives for every year.

Lo Van Pham (Back Judge) Van Pham is from Amarillo, TX and has been a member of the Amarillo Chapter for several years. He has been a member CFO West as a SJ since 2007. Van Pham has worked games in Southland, Mountain West and Big XII. He has worked in various arena leagues since 2006 including AFL, AFL2, and IFL. He was a FJ for the in WAC 2012. He also has professional football experience as a SJ in United Football League in 2012.
