Airport to MCAS Iwakuni Via commercial Shuttle Bus,Train and Taxi

Go out the door. After arriving at Arrival lobby, go to the ticket vending machine (English display is available) on the left side wall near the convenience store and

purchase a limousine bus ticket to JR Hiroshima Train station for ¥1,340. If you arrive at Hiroshima Airport as an International arrival, you must go to the Domestic Arrival There is a bus stop (#2) says “For ”. lobby to purchase tickets. Ticket vending machines are only Take Airport Limousine bus for “JR Hiroshima Train Station” available in the Domestic lobby. (White & purple color bus) English announcement will be provided on the bus.

The trip should take about 45 minutes. The bus will arrive on the north side of Hiroshima train station. When you get to the Hiroshima train station, please walk into the train terminal. There are ticket-vending machines located on the first floor. Please purchase ¥760 ticket to local Iwakuni JR station. Go to the second floor (take the escalator) and insert your ticket into the ticket taking machine for local train. The ticket will be turned back to you.

All local train seats are open-seat. It takes about 50 min to Iwakuni（岩国） Once you get off the train at , walk through the ticket gate and proceed to a taxi stand. Please show this Japanese phrase: 岩国基地までお願いします means, “Please take us to the Iwakuni base” to the taxi driver. Some taxies are not available to drive on base. If they say no, that taxi is not registered to drive on base. If you desperately need to go to the base, any taxi takes you to the main gate of base. Please show this Japanese phrase:岩国基地の正門までお願いします means, “Please take us to the main gate of base”. Travelling time to main gate is approximately 10 min and fare is about ¥2,000. ITT §0827-79-4377
