City Centre Campus

The City Centre Campus consists of 3 buildings located just a 10 minute walk away from City Centre. These buildings include: Millennium Point: Home to the faculty of Computing, Engineering and the built environment (CEBE), well as Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) Parkside: Home to the faculty of Art, Design and Media (ADM)

Curzon Building: Home to the faculty of Business Law and Social Sciences. The campus is located in the City Centre of Birmingham, which hosts the famous Bullring shopping centre which houses many shops and restaurants to meet the needs of its customers. If you intend to travel through Birmingham, then it may be useful to buy a bus pass. Bus passes can be purchased in New Street Station. They can be bought on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis. Alternatively you can choose to pay when getting onto the bus, a day saver which will allow unlimited travel all day costs £4.40. There are also train station located in the City Centre including: New Street Station, Moor Street Station and Snow Hill Station.

City North Campus

The City North Campus is located approximately 10-15 minutes away from the City Centre Campus and is home to the School of Education which forms part of the Health, Education and Life Sciences (HELS) Faculty. There are two university owned accommodation located in this area, Oscott Gardens and The Coppice. There is a sports centre located at The Coppice, this facility has a gym, sports rooms available to hire and classes to attend (Yoga, aerobics etc.) More information can be found at: https://www.dougellissportscentre.com/bcu_city_north/HOME The One Stop shopping centre is located a 5 minute walk from the campus and has many shops and places to grab some food. There is also an Asda Supermarket inside which sells groceries, clothing, electrical appliances, household items and much more. In the areas surrounding One Stop there are more restaurants, grocery stores, banks and various other places of use. A Post Office is located a 5 minute walk from One Stop on Wellington road. Here you will be able to send parcels and letters as well as a number of other services. http://www.postoffice.co.uk/ The commute to city centre takes about 10-15 minutes. There are bus services available that run till late at night (33, 51,907, 935, 997 etc.), the bus stop is located on Wellhead Lane the road next to the campus, ensure to get on the bus on the correct side of the road, ask the driver if necessary. A train also runs from Perry Barr train station to New Street Station, the Perry Barr train station is located two minutes from One Stop.

If you need to travel around Birmingham and you are located at City North Campus, you can buy a bus pass in One Stop shopping centre. (Located In the small shop to your right as you come off the escalators.

City South Campus

The City South Campus is located in approximately 10-15 minutes from the City Centre Campus. The campus is home to the faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences (HELS).

Edgbaston Cricket Ground is located nearby and is the second largest cricketing venue in the UK where major international cricket teams have competed. More information can be found at: http://www.edgbaston.com/

The city centre is a short distance away, if you choose not to get there on foot then you can catch the train or a bus. The nearest train station is Five Ways train station, here you can purchase a bus pass. The buses that can be caught include the 22, 23, 24, 29 which will drop you off at Harborne Road, a 10 minute walk away from the City Centre Campus.
