ARE YOU ON THE VOTERS' LIST OF THE English Montreal School Board (EMSB)?

Everyone in Quebec who is on the permanent voters' list is automatically placed on a school board electoral list. However, the default is the electoral list of the French school board in the area where you live. You are on the EMSB list only : - If you have a child currently registered in an EMSB school. - If you voted in the last EMSB election in 2007, your name will appear on the electoral list for the upcoming election, even if your child or children have already graduated.

To be entitled to vote in the upcoming EMSB elections you must be:

 A Canadian citizen

 18 years or older

 On Quebec’s permanent list of electors

 Live in the territory of the EMSB

 Have lived in Quebec for at least 6 months prior to the voting date, Nov. 2.

 Live in the territory of the EMSB (see map) If you are unsure as to whether your name will appear on the EMSB electoral list, you can call 1- 888-353-2846 or after September 25th, you may also call the EMSB Election office at 514-483- 7200 ext. 8800 or 8801 or 8802. In the event that your name is absent from the EMSB electoral list, you can complete this form and submit it to the EMSB Election Office (6000 Fielding Avenue) before October 14th. Another option is to visit the EMSB Election Office in person. It will be handling revision requests from October 4-13 (from 10 am to 3 pm) and Oct 14 (from 10 am – 10 pm). Additional revision offices locations will also be set up at:

 Lester B. Pearson High School in Montreal North (11575 P.M. Favier)

 John F. Kennedy High School in Villeray (3030 Villeray)

 LaurenHill Academy in St. Laurent (2505 Cote Vertu)

 Westmount High School (4350 Ste Catherine) These offices will be open:

 October 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

 October 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

 October 10 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m and fromv7 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you visit a revision office, ensure that you bring two pieces of identification (1 photo and 1 address).
