Fancoach Project
• Mision: The Feyenoord Fancoach project enables young Feyenoord supporters within the age group of 13 to 24 years old to develop themselves in a positive way through intensive guidance and the network and attraction of Feyenoord. • Vision: Stimulating personal development and teaching young Feyenoord supporters the right standards and values. • A decline in football hooliganism and violence among Feyenoord supporters in the age of 13 to 24 years. • Reducing recidivism for “first football offenders’ in the age of 13 to 24 years. • Letting young people develope themselves in a positive way. • Increasing the clubbinding and the sense of social responsibilities among Feyenoord supporters aged 13 to 24. Guiding young supporters with a football-related sanction: the alternative route
• Making contact when a young person receives a sanction • Obtaining background information • Estimating possible problems and responding to them, such as referring to authorities or monitoring with the police • Designing a customized alternative route • Appropriate guidance for young people during the process • Keeping in touch with young people when sanctions have been lifted Benefits
