DPAS 7.0 Mobile Application – Device Configuration & App Install The images and descriptions below are used to explain the recommended device configuration and install methods for the 7.0 DPAS Mobile App – This information is subject to change as new functionality is released.
Compatible Devices – • Please visit the Software & Hardware page on the DPAS Support Website to see current approved devices – https://dpassupport.golearnportal.org/index.php/support/software-hardware • The Mobile App is compatible with all devices that operate on Windows 10.
Configure Device – • Sideload must be enabled on device – this action must be performed by your agencies System Administrator 1. From the Start Menu, Open Settings. 2. Click on Update & security. 3. Click on For developers. 4. Under "Use developer features," select the Sideload apps option • Note – Sideload will be required for initial install and all proceeding updates

Download DPAS Mobile App – • Download App Software from the DPAS Warehouse Management OR the Property Accountability Module
o Warehouse Management Module – 1. Navigate to AIT Software Update from the AIT Mgmt menu 2. Select the UWP – Windows – DPAS Mobile from the Software Version dropdown. 3. Select Download

o Property Accountability Module – 1. Navigate to PDCD Sftwr Install from the AIT menu 2. Select the Windows 10 UWP from the Sftwr Dnwld Optn dropdown. 3. Select Download

Install Application on Handheld Device – • Once the software has been downloaded from the DPAS Warehouse/Property Accountability Module, the user must install the application’s software onto their Windows 10 Device. 1. Save DPAS.Mobile.appx 2. Open DPAS.Mobile.appx 3. Select Install – leave Launch when ready checked 1. Note – If prompted with SmartScreen unreachable, select Run for your computer to trust the app
Sharing Application onto Multiple Devices – • Methods of App file transfer from DPAS web version to Windows 10 Mobile Devices – subject to your agency’s guidelines 1. Shared Drive Folder 2. Thumb drive 3. Microsoft App Store (pending – future release)

DPAS Mobile App – • Prior to operating the DPAS Mobile Application – all personnel using the application must have a DPAS user account with the appropriate role access. 1. Insert CAC into device and open the DPAS Mobile App 2. Select user’s CAC certificate and enter PIN 3. DPAS Mobile Home page displays
