As more people are immunized, the risk for everyone is reduced. Vaccines are safe and effective. Getting a shot is the best way to protect yourself and others. As more people are immunized, the risk for everyone is reduced. We would like our Clubs to check with their members to insure that all have received a Vaccine. Continue to follow the public health measures to prevent spread of COVID-19, such as wearing a mask, staying at least 2 metres from others and limiting social contacts. Our Newsletters can also be viewed on the SeniorsNL web site: http://seniorsnl.ca/nl-50plus-federation/ COVtD-19 As seniors we are the most vulnerable to COVID - 19. COVID 19 has claimed millions of lives around the world, including six here in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Government goal is to have a single dose of vaccine to every eligible person who wants one by June 30,2021. The Federation encourages all Clubs not to consider any social activities until next year However, if club has any activity they should go by the Public Health Guidelines.
