• Gold Coast United have developed four core values that we pride ourselves on and try and instill these into our players, that align with our club ethos developing the person.

The club have moved all communication to the Team App platform.

The process is all players, parents, coaches, managers & volunteers have been asked to download the app. We have created groups for all joining members.

The club can the communicate to all whom have joined or to segments of the membership, depending on what messages need to be sent. Wellness Hub

In 2020 Gold Coast United have created a Wellness Hub for players, coaches & parents. The Wellness Hub focus on the below topics and have put our coaches through a series of workshops designed to educate them around these specific topics.

• At GC United FC we want to ensure all children feel safe by doing the following: • Developing a child safety commitment statement and championing a child safety culture • Have staff and volunteers comply with codes of conduct: Child Safe Coaches Code of Conduct) • Encouraging everyone to come forward and report misconduct by kids or adults • Staff and volunteers receive training on child protection, which for coaches is: • Child Safety Online Training • Concussion Training Training Times & Changerooms • During the week we have all teams training at different days & times • The Technical Director will inform you of what time and which area you will be training at. • Monday to Friday the changerooms are split to have 2 Ladies/Girls changerooms side by side on the left hand side of the building, and 2 Male/ Boys changerooms side by side on the right hand side. Signs are displayed on the front doors for convenience. • Goals are available for use for your sessions, however if you use them you are expected to return them to the central area where they are locked at the end of training. • It is the responsibility of the last coach who is training to ensure all goals are locked up, and changerooms are locked after training. Lights – Training & Games

• Our field lights are LED lights, they are controlled via text message to turn them on and turn them off

• The only staff who have the ability to turn the lights on and off are Rob Morris , Mark Anderson & Mark Shields • If you need the lights on please text either of the staff above, and also text them again when you need the lights turned off.

• Our Clubhouse is fully air conditioned. • Our Clubhouse is open Monday – Friday for coaches to use for tactical sessions or education sessions. • The clubhouse is equipped with Whiteboards, TV for presentations • The clubhouse has 30 tables and 80 chairs, so more than enough room for players and parents to congregate for coach’s presentations. • The clubhouse is a Licensed area, so it has a full bar, with soft drink available as well as a coffee machine for the convenience for parents. • The clubhouse has a Male & Female tolilet, as well as a disabled toilet facility to cater for the elderly or people with wheelchairs. • Fire Extinguishers are located in the kitchen, and back exit Clubhouse Layout Parking at Coplick’s

• Gold Coast United FC have 80 carparks in the Eastern Carpark & 80 carparks in the western carpark. • We encourage our parents & players to park in the eastern carpark on game days and congregate at the clubhouse. Teams are asked to meet there and walk across to the changerooms together. • There are disabled carparks in both Eastern & Western carparks for use. • At night for security the carpark lights come on automatically for personal safety • We strongly encourage all carpark users to not leave anything valuable in your cars whilst at our facility, and ensure you lock your vehicles.
