During 2016/17, the excellent performances of asctaQLD coaches was again recognised by their selection to lead and assist with Swimming Queensland and Swimming Australia teams. It is the success of such coaches that Queensland and Australia were well represented on both a National and International platform. To continue the support of Queensland coaches, asctaQLD also contributes to Swimming Queensland via financial support for the Coach and Club Development Officers who work with coaches around the State in the form of clinics, coaches workshops, program visits and associated development activities. The annual asctaQLD Coaches Christmas Lunch was held on the last day of the 2016 Queensland Championships at the Sleeman Sports Complex.
