Mayor Wilks called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.

Community Connections Society of Southeast BC Dayle Aston presented the funding request for the Community Connections Society of Southeast BC for the "Breastfeeding Mamas!" project.

2 Aids Network Outreach and Support Society There were no representatives to present the funding request from the Aids Network Outreach and Support Society for their "#LoveProject; Knit for Mental Health" project.

3 Air Cadet League of , 279 Elk Valley Squadron Robin Gold presented the funding request for the Air Cadet League of Canada, 279 Elk Valley Squadron for the "Powered Flight Training" project.

4 Blue Lake Forestry Education Society Mayor Wilks read a submission for the funding request from the Blue Lake Forestry Education Society for the "Blue Paddle" project.

5 Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - East Kootenay Branch Christy King presented the funding request for the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( - East Kootenay Branch for the "Low-Cost Spay/Neuter" project. 6 Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies Bev McNaughton presented the funding request for the Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies for the "Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies: Endowment Growth" project.

7 Cranbrook and District 4-H Council Association There were no representatives to present the funding request from the Cranbrook & District 4-H Council Association for the "Storage Facility Painting/Event Mobility/Ag for All Weekend" project.

8 District of Sparwood (Friends of the Sparwood Dog Park) Betty Downey presented the funding request for the District of Sparwood (Friends of the Sparwood Dog Park) for the "Sparwood Dog Park" project.

9 Elk Valley Air Search and Rescue Association Theresa Lawrence presented the funding request for the Elk Valley Air Search and Rescue Association for the "Purchase and enhancement of essential equipment" project.

1O Elk Valley Critical Incident Response Team Brian Glover presented the funding request for the Elk Valley Critical Incident Response Team for the "Elk Valley Critical Incident Response Team" project.

11 Elk Valley Society for Community Living Gayle Vallance presented the funding request for the Elk Valley Society for Community Living for the "Summer Program for Children with Special Needs" project.

13 Fernie Pets Society Maren Esch presented the funding request for the Fernie Pets Society for the "Elk Valley Spay Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP)" project.

14 Fernie Pride Society Melissa Creelman presented the funding request for the Fernie Pride Society for the "Elk Valley Pride Festival" project.

15 Frank J Mitchell Elementary School Lyndsay Gerscht presented the funding request for the Frank J Mitchell Elementary School for the "Additional Playground" project.

16 Frank J Mitchell Elementary School Mardelle Sauerborn presented the funding request for the Frank J Mitchell Elementary School for the "Young Authors, Citizens Scientists" project and advised Council that she would like to reduce the request to $2,000 as they have obtained other funding.

17 Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC There were no representatives to present the funding request from Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC for the "Strategic Plan" project.
