THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, IN THE BOROUGH OF CHARNWOOD) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2017(PAVILION WAY, LOUGHBOROUGH ) (AMENDMENT 16) ORDER 202

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be:

1. To impose a No Waiting at Any Time restriction on part of Pavilion Way, Loughborough

A copy of the proposed Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals and an explanatory statement giving the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at my offices, Room 200, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA, at the offices of Charnwood Borough Council, Southfield Road, Loughborough LE11 2TX. Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by not later than 13th May 2020, quoting reference JM/HTWMT/4673. STATEMENT OF REASONS

Leicestershire County Council proposes to make the following order.

It is necessary to impose a No Waiting At Any Time restrictions along Pavilion Way, Loughborough. The restriction shall restrict vehicles from parking and obstructing the flow of traffic. This will create a safe highway environment allowing for safe passage for all its users and promote local business. The Leicestershire County Council (“the Council”) in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) as amended, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act hereby makes the following Order:-

1. This Order shall come into operation on <> and may be cited as “The Leicestershire County Council (Various Roads in the Borough of Charnwood) Consolidation Order 2017( Pavilion Way, Loughborough)(Amendment 16) Order 202

2. The "Leicestershire County Council (Loughborough, Charnwood Borough) Consolidation Order 2017" is hereby amended by the plan(s) specified in the First Schedule to this Order and with the inclusion of the plan(s) specified in the Second Schedule, attached hereto.
