West Council Election of a Parish Councillor for West Row Parish Council

Parish Number of Parish Councillor to be elected West Row One

1. Forms of nominations may be obtained at House, Western Way, , Suffolk, IP33 3YU from the Returning Officer who will, on request, prepare a nomination paper for signature.

2. Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer, West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU during office hours on any working day from the date of this notice (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Friday 3 September 2021.

3. To ensure that nominations can be delivered safely, please book an appointment by emailing [email protected] with details of the date and time that you

would like to attend.

4. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 30 September 2021.

5. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on 14 September 2021. Applications can be made online: http://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU by 5 pm on Wednesday 15 September 2021.

Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 3YU by 5 pm on Thursday 30 September 2021. To apply, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5 pm on Wednesday 22 September 2021.
