2 2010 Season Notebook • The Cajuns posted the program’s first ever 10-win season in 2010, surpassing the record of nine wins set by the 2007 squad. The Cajuns also smashed the school record for home wins as they posted eight to surpass the record of four set by three other teams.

• The Cajuns did so with an excellent defense. UL tied the school record for fewest goals allowed by surrendering just 28 goals on the year. The Cajuns also set a new school-record with seven shutouts.

• Chelsea Balestra and Cayla Chatman each set single-season career-highs and led the Cajuns with seven goals scored. Chatman is now just eight goals away from breaking the UL career record with two seasons still to play.

• Courtney Hofland and Kelli Jestes battled throughout their senior campaign to see who would finish the season as the Cajuns all-time leading scorer. Jestes edged Hofland as they finished their careers with 21 and 20 goals, respectively.

• Hofland however did pace the squad with five assists and finished her career atop the Cajuns’ all-time assist chart with 12. Hofland also finished her career as the leader in matches played (84), matches started (80), points (52) and shots (141). www.RAGINCAJUNS.com
