Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***The Music of Eric Zann Call of Cthulhu fought a lot harder in this game, and managed to equalise the home team's play advantage. However, the referee didn't like that, and gave FC Asskickers the deciding penalty.
Sheffield Thursday - Night Owls 1 : 1 Scorers: Akpo Sodje (31.) ***Boreal Owl (23.) Booked: Darren Potter, Luke Varney ***--- Night Owls managed a slight upper hand at Hillsborough Stadium, but the home team fought hard enough to stay in it.

Tamriel Athletic had a tiny upper hand, but St. Helens were the only ones to score and go straight into the medal race after the first two games. FC Mokum - Drawmongers FC 3 : 1 Scorers: Spits (63.), Zuid (19.), Heineken (9.) ***Clegg (67.) Despite somewhat of a play advantage to the visitors, FC Mokum managed to snatch the win.
Illuminatus! - Hope United 4 : 0 Scorers: KFS (28.), CP (65.), KPN (81.), ING (86.) ***--- A big win for Illuminatus! - two deserved points, but an overstated scoreline.
Currents of Space - Botanica 4 : 0 Scorers: Pegasus (42., 54.), Gaius Batar (87.), Elfa Kurdagh Vlata (24.) ***--- No chance here for Botanica; the last Nightmare champions had a field day.
Ubermenschen - Dead Dino Storage 3 : 0 Scorers: Kafka (8., 39.), Goethe (59.) ***--- Another solid home win in Division 1 West. I suppose the second round will let us know more about whether the strength difference is as big as it seems. the Professors of Jazz - Madmartigan City 5 : 3 Scorers: Bill Evans (48., 58., 73., 78.), Ella Fitzgerald (58.) ***JoJo (23.), Hop Hop (78.), KeKe (46.) Booked: Artie Shaw ***--- An exciting game where the home team fought their way to a small upper hand and won it.

Famous Battles - the Professors of Jazz 3 : 2 Scorers: Waterloo (33., 67.), Dune (81.) ***Artie Shaw (35., 52.) Famous Battles were stronger and won, though Artie Shaw gave them a run for their money.
Madmartigan City - Ubermenschen 1 : 3 Scorers: KeKe (65.) ***Kafka (15., 90.), Brecht (58.) Ubermenschen managed an upper hand away and won here, identifying themselves as one of the candidates for promotion.
Dead Dino Storage - Currents of Space 0 : 3 Scorers: --- ***Elfa Kurdagh Vlata (21., 44.), Pegasus (32.) Booked: --- ***Skua September Currents of Space storm ahead with another fine win. As one would expect, the best team from the Nightmare League belong on the highest level, but this season they have to prove it on the field and qualify!
Botanica - Illuminatus! 5 : 4 Scorers: Chlorophyta (9., 21., 49., 58.), Salicacea (88.) ***ABN (22., 88.), CP (19.), ING (78.) An even game that could've gone either way, but Chlorophyta was in excellent scoring form and made sure the home team claimed this one.
Hope United - FC Mokum 3 : 3 Scorers: Holly Hopebringer (45.), Deborah Defender (76.), Milton Middleground (64.) ***Spits (6.), Heineken (7.), Hank (88.) A draw, although the home advantage gave Hope United a small upper hand.
Drawmongers FC - Kremlin 4 : 2 Scorers: Clegg (27., 61., 76.), Jelly (44.) ***Mikail Strychnin (7., 39.) Another home win, this one secured by a hattrick from Clegg.

Dirigentia con Brio - Jirs Nightmare County 2 : 1 Scorers: Axelrod (8.), C Abbado (56.) ***Agloron (64.) A solid win for DcB, which easily could have been bigger. A candidate for promotion?
ForEverton - Magical World 1 : 2 Scorers: Seamus Coleman (44.) ***Merlin (12., 53.) A strong game by Magical World sees them one goal up and claiming two new points.
Chicken Run - Queen 3 : 1 Scorers: Mrs. Ypsilanti (4., 54.), Weena (67.) ***Happiness (20.) Chicken Run managed a firm upper hand, and Mrs. Ypsilanti gave them the lead twice - the second time it lasted.

Extreme - Valiant City 3 : 0 Scorers: Advocaat (13., 83.), Nobby Nobbs (58.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Vanessa Vaccumer Back at home, Extreme did much better, and definitely deserved two points here.
