 98 square miles  20 miles  1.4 million people currently reside in the Study Area, with 1.6 Million residents projected in 2042  619,000 jobs are currently located in the Study Area, 747,000 jobs projected in 2042  Populations and employment densities are five times higher than LA County

2 Northern Alignment Alternatives

 In May 2018, the Metro Board selected two new northern alignments to move forward into the DEIS/EIR: - Alternatives E (Union Station) - Alternative G (Downtown Core)

3 Southern Alignment

> San Pedro Branch North of Rosecrans, owned by Ports of LA and Long Beach: 6 miles

> Right-of-Way South of Rosecrans, owned by Metro: 7.3 miles

4 December Board Approval

Key updates • Three stations will be removed from further study: - 183rd/Gridley Station, - Vernon, and - Washington

• Five aerial grade-separations will be added: - Imperial Highway & Garfield Avenue (City of South Gate), - Downey Avenue (City of Paramount), - Flower Street/Woodruff (City of Bellflower) and - 183rd/Gridley (City of Cerritos)

• Optional Bloomfield extension & station will be removed from further study • Alignment will be aerial grade-separated over the I-10 until • Alternative G2 (Pershing Square Option) will be removed from further study

: Southern terminus (multi- modal transit hub)

 Pioneer Station parking will be relocated within City of Artesia limits

 Optional Bloomfield extension and station will be removed from further study 6

28 x 2028 Status

• WSAB is included in the 28 x 2028 project, list for a single yet-to-be determined alignment:

- Measure M Expenditure Plan $4 B (in 2015 $)

- Updated Project Cost Estimate $6.5 to $6.6 B (in 2018$)
