Martin McNamara In 2016, the Board of Trustees engaged in a thorough and professional Katy Ostroff strategic planning process that resulted in a new mission and vision for the André Ravenelle Fitchburg Art Museum, and a five-year plan to further improvements and ensure Karen Spinelli institutional sustainability. All decisions, initiatives, projects, and programs at the Fitchburg Art Museum reflect our commitment to education and the greater community. OUR ART The permanent collection of the Fitchburg Art Museum contains over 4,000 artworks, from Ancient Egypt to the present, with special emphases on American Art, African Art, and photography. In 2016, 191 artworks were acquired. FAM also presents changing exhibitions of art created by contem- FAM provides a robust year-round menu of classes and workshops for porary New England artists.
