UTAH CHAMPIONSHIP SIGNS THREE-YEAR EXTENSION WITH OAKRIDGE COUNTRY CLUB

Salt Lake City, – September 22, 2017 – The Web.com Tour and the Utah Sports Commission announced that Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah will be home for the next three years to host Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank. The 2018 event is scheduled for July 12 – 15.

For the first time in 2017, Oakridge County Club played host to Utah’s only PGA TOUR event which awarded $700,000 to the players, the second-highest purse of the Web.com Tour regular season. Utah Championship winner , who earned $126,000, with his victory, went on to capture the WinCo Foods Portland Open to close out the Tour’s regular season.

Located in Farmington, Utah, just 15 minutes north of , Oakridge Country Club was established in 1956. The course was originally designed by William F. Bell, and with recent improvements to the golf course and clubhouse in 2005, the new venue showcased a welcoming atmosphere for both players and spectator’s a like.
