From Cape Town Airport (N2) l From the airport, travel along the N2 and take the R310 (i.e. Baden Powell Drive) exit to Stellenbosch. l Travel along the R310 for approx. 10 km. You will pass Spier Wine Estate on your right. l When you reach the T-junction, turn right at the traffic lights into onto the M12 (i.e. Stellenbosch Arterial Road). l Continue for another 1.5 km. You will pass the Cape Saw Mills on your left. l Immediately after passing the Cape Saw Mills, turn left into the Devon Valley Road. You will pass a small industrial area on your left. l Continue for approx. 6 km up the Devon Valley Road. l You will find the Devon Valley Hotel is on your right. There are two entrances. From Cape Town (N1) l From the N1, take Exit 39 to the R304. After taking the exit, turn right at the T-junction onto the R304 to Stellenbosch. l Travel for approx. 12 km. You will pass a speed trap camera in the 60 km zone just before you reach town. l You will enter Stellenbosch via Bird Street. l Continue through two sets of traffic lights. l At the big intersection with the R44, turn right into Adam Tas Road. l Continue along Adam Tas Road alongside the railway line on your right. l Pass through the next two sets of traffic lights. l Take the next exit to your right (the sign should say R310 / N2). l This is still Adam Tas Road. Continue past the railway station on your right. l Pass through the next set of traffic lights. The BMW Garage and petrol station will be on your left. l Drive over the bridge (over the railway line). l Continue through the next set of traffic lights. You will pass Distell on your left. l After approx. 200 m, turn right into the Devon Valley Road. l After entering the Devon Valley Road, you will pass the Cape Saw Mills and a small industrial area on your left. l Continue for approx. 6 km up the Devon Valley Road. l You will find the Devon Valley Hotel is on your right. From Paarl (R44) l Take the R44 to Stellenbosch. You will pass several speed trap cameras as you near the town. The R44 later becomes Adam Tas Road. l You will pass through a set of traffic lights. l At the big intersection with Bird Street, pass through the traffic lights. l Continue along Adam Tas Road alongside the railway line on your right. l Pass through the next two sets of traffic lights. l Take the next exit to your right (the sign should say R310 / N2). l This is still Adam Tas Road. Continue past the railway station on your right. l Pass through the next set of traffic lights. The BMW Garage and petrol station will be on your left. l Drive over the bridge (over the railway line). l Continue through the next set of traffic lights. From Somerset West (N2 and R44) l From Somerset West or the N2, take the exit onto the R44 in the direction of Stellenbosch. l Continue through the intersection where the R44 crosses Somerset West's Main Road. You will pass the Lord Charles Hotel on your left. l Continue for approx. 15 km along the R44 in the direction of Stellenbosch. l As you approach the town, continue the traffic lights. You will pass De Zalze Golf Estate on your left. l Pass through the next 4 sets of traffic lights. l At the 5th set of traffic lights (the intersection between the R44 and Dorp Street), turn left into Dorp Street. l Continue for a short distance to the T-Junction at the bottom of Dorp Street. You will see a garage and petrol station on the corner on your left. l Turn left here. l Drive over the bridge (over the railway line). l Continue through the next set of traffic lights. You will pass Distell on your left. l After approx. 200 m, turn right into the Devon Valley Road. l After entering the Devon Valley Road, you will pass the Cape Saw Mills and a small industrial area on your left. l Continue for approx. 6 km up the Devon Valley Road. l You will find the Devon Valley Hotel is on your right. From Franschhoek (R310) l Take the Helshoogte Pass (R310) from Franschhoek to Stellenbosch. l Upon reaching the outskirts of Stellenbosch, continue through the first set of traffic lights where the Helshoogte Road intersects with Cluver Road. l Continue for approx. 2 km along the to the intersection between the Helshoogte Road and the R44. l Turn left into the R44 in the direction of Stellenbosch. The R44 becomes Adam Tas Road. l At the big intersection with Bird Street, pass through the traffic lights. l Continue along Adam Tas Road alongside the railway line on your right. l Pass through the next two sets of traffic lights. l Take the next exit to your right (the sign should say R310 / N2). l This is still Adam Tas Road.
