2021 Open Championship Info Sheet The 150th Open Championship in St. Andrews Sunday, July 10-Monday, July 18, 2022 The playing of the 2022 Open Championship will be EPIC! The Old Course will be hosting the Open Championship for the 30th time and 2022 will be the 150th playing of The Open. To attend the Open Championship at “The Home of Golf” will be a bucket list experience. Attend the Open Championship with Chris Foley Golf. The trip will be limited to 12 people and include the following: • Tickets to the Open Championship on Thursday and Saturday with luxurious hospitality access. Hospitality package gives access to the Hall of Champions located in the Five Star Old Course Hotel. Situated along the 17th fairway, this will be the prime spot to watch the Open Championship from. o The Hall of Champions has private restroom facilities, is air conditioned, and will have full TV coverage throughout the day. o Access to a private garden alongside the 17th Hole. o Complimentary full bar, full Scottish breakfast, three course lunch, Traditional Afternoon Tea • Four rounds of golf including Dumbarnie, Lundin Links, Crail, and Leven Links Golf Club. • Package available for non-golfer with sightseeing excursions. • Lodging in Lundin Links conveniently located 15 minutes from St. Andrews. o Bed & Breakfast o BBQ Wednesday evening o Viewing party on Championship Sunday • All ground transportation Itinerary Sunday, July 10 – Depart for Scotland Monday, July 11 – Arrive Edinburgh morning. Check into Bed & Breakfast in Lundin Links. Afternoon sightseeing St. Andrews Tuesday, July 12 – Golf Lundin Links - Founded in 1868 on an Old Tom Morris course that was redesigned by James Braid in 1909. This is principally links with four holes more akin to parkland. The present Balcomie Links course was designed by Old Tom Morris in 1895 and is recognized as one of Scotland`s classics. The course has stunning views across the North Sea to the distant mountains of Angus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8tnKX2QZMQ Thursday, July 14 – Attend first round of THE OPEN CHAPMIONSHIP Friday, July 15 – Play Dumbarnie Links - Designed by former Ryder Cup player Clive Clark, Dumbarnie opened to great acclaim in May of 2020. Located just 20 minutes from St. Andrews, the course is located on 345 acres of sandy links land and offers stunning views of the Firth of Forth. The course was the most anticipated opening in Scotland in the last 25 years. https://youtu.be/-W3H1nJI2ec Saturday, July 16 – Attend third round of THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP Sunday, July 17 – Play Leven Links morning/Afternoon viewing party of THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. – Originally opened in 1846, the Leven Golfing Society is one of the world’s oldest golf clubs. Non-golfer package will include sightseeing package including Edinburgh, St. Andrews and castle tours. Notes: 1. The prices are based on the approximate current exchange rates of US$1.31 = €1.00 and US$1.60 = UK£1.00 and are good for the bandwidths of $1.28 – $1.42 and $1.58 - $1.62 respectively. If the rates fall outside these bandwidths at the time of final payment (60 days from date of travel), then the price will either increase or decrease depending on whether the US$ weakens or strengthens in the meantime. 2. Above quote is based on a group of eight to twelve golfers travelling sharing a luxury golf coach and driver. 3. The package prices specifically exclude air fares, meals (other than breakfast each morning which is included), caddies or buggies/pull carts, and gratuity to driver (- typically €30 - €40 per person), etc. 4. All tee times, accommodations and rental vans are subject to availability at time of booking. 5.
