González2, Erick Yábar L.1* RESUMEN Tachinidae es una de las familias de Diptera más diversificadas, y la más grande de Oestroidea, con más de 8.500 especies descritas en más de 1.500 géneros y distribuidas en todas las regiones zoogeográficas del planeta. Se reportan para Cusco seis géneros de Goniini (Diptera, Tachinidae): Araucosimus Aldrich, Chaetocnephalia Townsend, Chaetocraniopsis Townsend, Dolichocnephalia Townsend, Germariopsis Townsend y Gonia Meigen. Los géneros Chaetocnephalia, Chaetocraniopsis, Dolichocnephalia y Germariopsis se reportan por primera vez para Cusco y Araucosimus por primera vez para Perú. Se incluye una clave para los seis géneros estudiados. Palabras claves: taxonomía, Goniini, claves, Región Neotropical, Perú. ABSTRACT The family Tachinidae is one of the most diverse of all the insect families with more than 8,500 described species classified into more than 1,500 genera. Six genera of Goniini (Diptera, Tachinidae) are reported to Cusco: Araucosimus Aldrich, Chaetocnephalia Townsend, Chaetocraniopsis Townsend, Dolichocnephalia Townsend, Germariopsis Townsend y Gonia Meigen. The genus Araucosimus is cited for the first time to Peru. Genera Chaetocnephalia, Chaetocraniopsis, Dolichocnephalia, and Germariopsis are cited for the first time to Cusco. A key to the six genera is included. Key words: taxonomy, Goniini, keys, Neotropical Region, Perú. Introducción incluyendo desiertos, bosques, pasturas, montañas y tundra (Stireman et al., 2006). Los Tachinidae son un grupo de muscoideos En la Región Neotropical, la subfamilia caliptrados de la superfamilia Oestroidea, con Exoristinae, Goniinae sensu Guimaraes (1971), más de 8.500 especies clasificadas en un número comprende 21 tribus, una de las cuales es Goniini. -

(Auchenorrhyncha: Flatidae) is a very important species in agriculture because it causes damages and economic losses in agricultural activities. In observing fragments of semi-deciduous forest, riparian forest and cerrado forest (Cerradão) in Jataí, Montividiu and Paraúna in the southwest of the state of Goiás during the month of January 2012, were observed natural populations of Tachigali vulgaris (carvoeiro-branco). In the southwest of Goiás, an important agricultural region of the country, little is known about the damage caused to commercial crops by the leafhopper treated in this work, but here we call attention to the action of an agricultural pest interacting negatively with the native vegetation. The presence of P. phalaenoides in the Cerrado is already known, but the presence of the spittlebug in the southwest of the state of Goiás in T. -

The aim of this study was to compile the species sampled in different areas in the State of Acre. An inventory was carried out in pristine forest in the municipality of Xapuri. This list was complemented with the information of a previous inventory carried out in a forest fragment in the municipality of Senador Guiomard and with a list of species deposited at the Entomological Collection of National Institute of Amazonian Research– INPA. -

Abstract: Adults and nymphs of Poekilloptera phalaenoides (Auchenorrhyncha: Flatidae) were found on Acacia po- dalyriaefolia (Leguminosae: Mimosoideae) in Viçosa, Minas Gerais, in October 2007. This is the first record of this insect in the municipality of Viçosa and on plants of A. podalyriaefolia on which it can complete its full life cycle. Key words: Manguifera. Anona. Eucalyptus. Citrus. Theobroma. Introduction Poekilloptera phalaenoides (L., 1758) (Auchenorrhyncha: Flatidae) is recorded from Mexico through and Brazil (Maes 2004). In Brazil it has been reported in Bahia, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraíba, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Roraima, São Paulo and Sergipe states (Araú- jo et al. 1968; Querino et al. 2007; Silva 2009; Ferreira et al. 2009). Poekilloptera phalaenoides is characterized by having general pale yellowish color with black spots on the tegmina and wings (Figs 1C-D ) (Costa Lima 1942). -

Information about the scientific collections is made available more and more often. The digitisation of such resources allows us to verify their value and share these records with other scientists – and they are usually rich in taxa and unique in the world. Moreover, such information significantly enriches local and global knowledge about biodiversi- ty. The digitisation of the resources of the Zoology Research Group, University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland) allowed presenting a substantial collection of scale insects (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha). The collection counts 9369 slide-mounted specimens, about 200 alcohol-preserved samples, close to 2500 dry specimens stored in glass vials and 1319 amber inclu- sions representing 343 taxa (289 identified to species level), 158 genera and 36 families (29 extant and seven extinct). -

According to the latest data, the scale insect fauna of the whole Greek territory includes 207 species; of which 187 species are recorded from mainland Greece and the minor islands, whereas only 87 species are known from Crete. The most rich families are the Diaspididae (with 86 species), followed by Coccidae (with 35 species) and Pseudococcidae (with 34 species). In this study the results of a zoogeographic analysis of scale insect fauna from mainland Greece and Crete are also presented. Five species, four from mainland Greece and one from Crete are considered to be endemic.
