DRAFT. AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE STEAM BOILERS ORDINANCE.

BE IT ENACTED by the High Commissioner for Palestine, with the. advice of the Advisory Council thereof : — 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Steam Boilers (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance, 1944, and shall be read as one with the Steam Boilers Ordinance, hereinafter referred to as "the principal Ordinance". Cap. 134. 2. Subsection (1) of section 5 of the principal Ordinance shall be Amendment of amended by the substitution of the expression "Director, Department section 5 of of Labour" for the expression "Director of Public.Works" appearing the principal therein. OBJECTS AND REASONS. This Bill is designed to give effect to proposal for transfer of the administration of the Steam Boilers Ordinance (Cap. 134), to the Director, Department of Labour, in place of the Director of Public Works.
