COLOUR: orange TEXTURE AND SURFACE: soft, fleshy, surface spiky DIMENSIONS: up to 10cm high, 15cm diameter DESCRIPTION: massive body with fine serrated processes produced at the top. Produces lots of mucus OCCURRENCE: common in the Sponge Garden, Waterfall Reef. 39

COLOUR: delicate salmon dermis over a darker orange internally TEXTURE AND SURFACE: soft with prickly surface DIMENSIONS: only occurs as small patches, 3.0cm diameter, 4.0cm high DESCRIPTION: unlike H. hauraki the maj.or spongin colums are separate OCCURRENCE: rare in Raphoxya Garden
