For eight years she was an education columnist for Back to Godhead, where she is an associate editor. 2008 Urmila wrote a letter to īśopaniṣad about the philosophy of education to be followed at Krishna Avanti Elementary School in Harrow, the first publicly funded Hindu school in Great Britain. [4] Urmila also participated in the debate on the place of women in ISKCON. [3] Urmila Devi Dasi holds a Master's degree in Administration from the Chapel Hill School of The University of North Carolina and a Doctorate in Education Leadership. In September 2010, she published a three-volume collection of Dr. Best Learn To Read, a program consisting of a collection of children's reading books, teacher leaders and student activity books designed for young children to learn the English alphabet to a smooth reading.
