GOSPEL REFLECTION

April 25, 2021 the Fourth Sunday of Easter Good Shepherd Sunday

As we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter, we are reminded of Christ’s care for each one of us as our 616 Reading Road Shepherd. This Sunday is traditionally known as the Mason, Ohio 45040 Good Shepherd Sunday because we meditate on the words of our Lord from the Gospel of John: “I am the Phone: 513-398-3821 good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep.” Parish Office: ext. 3100 We know that Jesus did not just die for mankind in School Office: ext. 3108 general, but He died for you and me personally and He knows us better than we know ourselves. He cares about us, not expecting Parish Office Hours payment from anyone, just for our love in return. The illustration of a shepherd and his flock Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm may not make sense to most of us in this modern age. But, we can relate to the image of a good parent who does everything in his/her means to make sure his/her child lives a better life. That parent does not expect much from the children but love.
