NOTE Please be aware that the location of Gobancho Center Building as well as JSAE is not so easy to find even for Japanese visitors. So please check the route from each station you arrive on the above map. e.g. from JR Ichigaya Sta.; From the station exit gate, choose a gradual slope road in the opposite direction to Kanda River, pass through the entrance of Mizuho Bank and climb up to the corner of the slope road where a small Chinese restaurant is located. Then turn on your right following the road, and you can find the entrance of Gobancho Center Building, second next building to the restaurant. Again please don’t miss the entrance (See the photos at the end of this document). Go up to the meeting rooms of JSAE on 4th floor by elevators.

Transportation information (Major access examples): a) From Narita, with use of a taxi Route 1; Airport Limousine Bus for “T-CAT” and taxi (JPY6,000, 90mins) From Narita International Airport, take the Airport Limousine Bus, which is moderately priced (JPY3,000) and frequent (every 20 minutes) limousine bus service, bound for Tokyo City Air Terminal (T-CAT, ) for approximately 60 minutes, then ride a taxi for 20-40 minutes (expected taxi fare ranges JPY2,500-3,000 depending on the destination) from T-CAT to the hotels.

NOTE Easier transfer at T-CAT from a limousine bus to a taxi or vice versa. Tokyo Airport Limousine Bus Return Voucher is available at JPY4,500 for international visitors (only) at the Limousine Bus ticket counter on the 1st floor of arrival lobby at Narita Airport. Usually in Japan, tip is unnecessary for taxi, and taxi drivers don’t speak English.

Route 2; Airport Limousine Bus for Tokyo Sta.and taxi (JPY5,000, 100 mins) Alternatively, from Narita International Airport, take the Airport Limousine Bus, which is moderately priced (JPY3,100) and frequent (every 15-30 minutes) limousine bus service, bound for Tokyo station for approximately 90 minutes, then ride a taxi for 15-30 minutes (expected taxi fare ranges JPY1,500 – 2,000 depending on the destination) from Tokyo sta. to the hotels.

NOTE Tokyo Airport Limousine Bus Return Voucher is available at JPY4,500 for international visitors (only) at the Limousine Bus ticket counter on the 1st floor of arrival lobby at Narita Airport.

b) From Narita to Ichigaya, without use of a taxi Route 1; Train (JPY2,640, 65mins) Narita Airport – (Keisei Express Sky Liner) – Nippori (JR Yamanote Line) – (JR Sobu Line) – Ichigaya

NOTE Faster, punctual and moderately priced transportation. However, Route 1 needs to change a respective train at the above two stations, so this is recommended for frequent visitors to Japan.

Route 2; Bus, Train (JPY1,160, 85mins) Narita Airport – (Keisei Bus “Tokyo shuttle” etc.) – Tokyo St., exit– (JR Chuo Line) – – (JR Sobu Line) – Ichigaya

NOTE The least priced transportation by using low cost “Tokyo Shuttle”, which runs roughly every 20-60 minutes. However, this is recommended for frequent visitors to Japan, because the bus terminal at Tokyo Sta. is situated 200 m away from the station entrance, and 500 m plus distant from the platform of JR Sobu Line. Tokyo Shuttle has no lavatory.

Route 3; Bus, Train (JPY3,270, 100-120 mins) Narita Airport – (Airport Limousine Bus) – Hotel Grand Palace ( Sta.) – (JR Sobu Line) – Ichigaya

NOTE Direct and easiest access to (rather expensive) Hotel Grand Palace. Route 3 may be recommended for the guests of the nearby hotels as well as those who stay at Hotel Grand Palace. However be careful to ride on/get off at the proper limousine bus stop (take a bus bound for “Akasaka Area” which stops several hotels in the area, and Hotel New Otani may be nearer stop for some guests depending on a staying hotel). c) From Haneda Airport with use of a taxi (Additional info.);

24 minutes from the airport to Hamamatsucho station by Monorail (JPY490). Then approximately 30 minutes by taxi from Hamamatsucho station to Gobancho Center Building / JSAE, or the hotels near to Ichigaya Sta., Sta. or Kojimachi Sta (JPY2,000 – 3,000).
