Step Up for Rotary

Many of you may recall that PDG Charlotte Herlong had asked the clubs to bring a painted chair to the District Conference in 2005.

This year, instead of a Gift Basket, the District Conference Committee would like every club to be a little creative and paint a stool to depict the character or history of the area where the club is located and to bring this stool to the District Conference. The stool can be large or small, could be wooden or of any other material. We will have a silent auction of most of the stools and a live auction at the Saturday Dinner of a few outstanding stools. The silent auction will start at 5 PM Friday evening so please make sure that your club's entry is at the conference site by Friday evening.

Please appoint someone in your club to take charge of this project and email his/ her name to the District Conference Chair, Barb Guida at [email protected]. If you have any questions, please direct them to Barb as well.

Thank you very much
