Directions

From Calais/Paris - take the E09/A20 in the Direction of Toulouse. If you are using Sat Nav, it will take you offthe E09/A20 signed for and , simply follow your sat nav but it is quite a windy route but very pretty and best not to do that in the dark! If you are ignoring your sat nav (or if you are not using one!) continue onto the E09/A20 and you will reach the Perifique motorway around Toulouse, A62 onto the A61 take exit 17 for , and head for signs Castres Mazamet. Follow the Mazamet signs along the N126 until you read the village of where you will turn right towards Mazamet on the D621 – follow this road until you arrive at a large set of traffic lights at a ‘K’ shape junction at the outskirts of Mazamet, keep right to take the N118, signed for and Centre Ville. This is a long straight road which takes you right into central Mazamet. Passing over the railways line and through the small set of lights, the park on your left and rue Pasteur is the first right (look out for the sign pictured here) – La Villa de Mazamet is on the right. From Barcelona/Perpignan – take the E-15 towards “Franco” () and Perpignan, once you pass Perpignan head for Narbonne, and exit onto the E80 heading towards Toulouse. Exit the E80 /A61 at Carcassonne (Airport and Zone Industrial) which is signed posted Mazamet – you will then pick up the D118 which takes you over the Montagne Noire to Mazamet. You enter into the town from the mountains, after the Mazamet sign, follow signs for ‘Centre Ville’. Once in the centre of town amongst the banks and shops, you will have to turn right onto a small one way system (you will see the La Gambetta newspaper stand on your right as you go round the bend), immediately get in the left hand lane and turn left into ‘rue L’Arnette’ signposted for Toulouse / Albi / Castres. After 250m, at the end of this road, you have to turn left again onto ‘rue de ‘Pont de Caville’ where you will see a set of traffic lights ahead. Turn right at these lights (very sharp turn) onto ‘Avenue Albert Rouviere’ signposted Albi / Castres. After a few metres you will see ‘La Poste’ (Post Office) on your right, and then the park ‘Jardin de Promenades’ . rue Pasteur is the first road on the left (look out for the sign pictured here) that you are allowed to turn into, opposite the bandstand in the park. La Villa de Mazamet is the second building on your right. (see parking information overleaf)

Carcassonne Airport – To turn left out of the airport, you have to exit the airport to the right at the far end of the hire car car-park, at the roundabout go completely around to head back past the airport. Go straight over at the first roundabout and at the second you will pick up the green Mazamet signs. Follow these (D118) over the mountain which is a very pretty journey for 40 km, then follow directions from last two paragraphs above. Directions

Montpellier/Bezier – head towards Bezier/Perpignan on the E80/E15/A9 exit towards Bezier on the N112/D612 – avoiding heading into the centre of Bezier. The road numbers will remain the same all the way to Mazamet which will be clearly signed (along the route you will pass through St. Chinian and St. Pons which are beautiful and good places to visit). On arriving in Mazamet, you will come to a large roundabout with a MacDonalds on your left. Take the third exit on this roundabout and heading up the short hill. At the next small roundabout go straight ahead, then bear right at the next much smaller one. This takes you up behind the park, after 300 metres you will come to a cross-roads, turn left signed forCarcassonne & Centre Ville and the park will be on your left and rue Pasteur is the first right turn (look out for the sign pictured here) – La Villa de Mazamet is on your right. – For parking information see below If you have any problems with directions. whilst on route, please don’t hesitate to call us on 05 63 97 90 33 Parking On arrival at La Villa de Mazamet, turn immediately right at our gates onto “Rue de la Liberation” and park on the left hand side of this quiet road. By Train The “Gare” (station) is located 200 metres from the front door. Depart the station, cross the road and head up Rue de Liberation (there is a Peugeot dealership on the corner which also has a Hertz car rental within it) La Villa is at the top of this road on the left, 200m.
