The lounges offer one student time to study.

Since the opening of the Powell Building housing the University Center, EKU students might be described as 'kids with a new toy.' During the main leisure hours, students flock to the center, taking advantage of its many recreational facilities, among which are a 12-lane bowling alley, a gameroom containing 16 pool tables and a TV lounge. There is also a lounge for those with studying or othet pensive con- centration on their minds. *VT*l * -*1 For meeting and talking with friends, an 800-seat grill on the ground floor offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Anyone needing general information has only to go to the information desk on the middle floor. Some offices have changed location among which are the office of Student Affairs and Organizations and the Student Association Office. .i Will Student patronage decline after the initial novelty has worn off? It's doubtful. Students know a good thing when they see one.

Another student takes aim at one of the 16 pool tables.
