Please see below some key instructions and tips on how to maximise your e-Summit experience

The whole event will be held on a platform called Hopin, a virtual venue with multiple interactive areas that are optimized for connecting and engaging. Once you are on the platform after accessing with your personal magic link, you can move in and out of rooms just like an in-person event and enjoy the content and connections we've created for you.

The platform is quite easy to use, here some tips (here a view from the screen)

Entering a parallel session / Lounge

It is very easy. Just go to Sessions, choose the one you want to join, and press the banner with the title. You will be taken into the virtual room where that session is happening. If you decide to leave the session, you can leave that session, go back to sessions and go to another session or go to a lounge to meet people. It is your choice, we leave you free to roam the virtual space we created for you.

When entering any parallel session, you will be requested to share your camera and sound. This way, you can join the rest of the participants as a normal zoom call. Once the limit on the quantity of screens shared is reached, you will not be able to appear on the screen, but you can still follow the session without sharing your video

Tech Recommendations

Browser Hopin platform runs smoothly with Chrome but does not with Safari. We highly recommend you to use only this browser to be able to enjoy the sessions. You can download Chrome for free from http://www.google.com/chrome/

Internet connection As the whole e-Summit is being held virtual, we cannot emphasize enough the importance of good internet connection during the summit.

Microphone & Camera This will be used to access sessions, you can access from the integrated microphone and camera from your laptop and even from your smart phone (even though we do not suggest you connect with your phone)

You will be receiving your magic link to access HOPIN. Fundraising in Crisis

There will always be crises and charities will and have learnt to pivot to adapt to the situation. We are now seven months on from March, when all face-to-face fundraising events and activities were cancelled due to the global lock- down.
