Parent Conlicts with Coaches or Oficials: From time to time, conlicts arise between parents and their children’s coaches or the ofi- cials. At no time is it appropriate to go onto a ield or court of play to ap- proach a coach or oficial whether before, during, or after an athletic con- test, regardless of the venue. Additionally, it is inappropriate for a parent to verbally confront a coach or oficial at any time before, during, or after an athletic contest. If a parent has a conlict with a coach or oficial, it is expected that the parent will contact the coach or the athletic director via phone the day after the athletic contest to discuss the conlict or ask to set up a meeting to address the conlict in person. The athletic director, building principal, and/or superintendent will be in attendance at the meeting. The Arts at DCS
