Boundaries: The Hor.estead lies within the Plymouth

Historic District of sor.e 2t62h acres that was entered on the National Register December 2, 1970, and is described on Form 10-300 in a submission made by the State Liaison Officer on December 17, 1969, and a revision of September 22, 1970,

The lot on which the homestead stands is rectangular in shape and has a frontage of about 210 feet on the northeasterly side of the village street opposite the village church. The lot runs about 85 feet in depth to contain about 17,850 square feet, A considerable open space lies beyond the northwesterly boundary of about 85 feet, a small cheese factory and sales room belonging to being operated about 300 feet up the hill to the west, A line of trees and fencing separates the homestead lot from a field to form the boundary of about 210 feet on the northeast at the rear of the main house, ell and carriage barn. m ..A fence on the southeast about 85 feet in length separates the homestead rn lot from a corner lot containing the Wilder House, which is operated for the Vermont Board of Historic Sites as a hospitality and luncheon center. z

is* The main house of the Coolidge Homestead is about 52 feet long and 25 H feet wide; the ell, extending eastward, about 23 feet long and 25 feet wide; and the attached carriage barn about 26 feet long and 22 feet wide. TO The house is set about 25 feet back from the village street and with its cz two appendages fills almost half of its frontage on the village street. r>
